The move is intended to allow for a more focused pipeline taking shows from development to production to international format rollout.<\/p>\n<p>Lamb, who previously served as managing director of BBC Studios\u2019 entertainment and music division, will lead the creative, commercial and operational strategy of the new unit. The U.K. entertainment unit sits with the BBC Studios\u2019 global entertainment business headed up by Matt Forde.<\/p>\n<p>Forde noted: \u201cThe global entertainment market continues to evolve at pace and the new U.K. entertainment unit will be the centerpiece of our global entertainment division, driving growth as well as building on the incredible success of its existing titles. I\u2019m excited to see what they will go on to create and deliver under Suzy\u2019s leadership.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lamb added: \u201cWith a thriving slate already in place and lots of new formats coming through the pipeline it really is an exciting time for BBC Studios.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Lamb&#8217;s team includes Katie Brewer as director of production.
