{"id":10678,"date":"2024-06-25T09:44:30","date_gmt":"2024-06-25T13:44:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/the-chase-extends-european-footprint\/"},"modified":"2024-06-25T09:44:32","modified_gmt":"2024-06-25T13:44:32","slug":"the-chase-extends-european-footprint","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tvformats\/the-chase-extends-european-footprint\/","title":{"rendered":"The Chase Extends European Footprint"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>ITV Studios&#8217; quiz show <em>The Chase<\/em> is getting new local versions in Slovenia for POP TV and Romania for Pro TV.<\/p>\n<p>The format, which debuted in Bulgaria and Slovakia in 2022, also has versions in the Czech Republic, Croatia, Serbia and more. <em>The Chase<\/em> is in 21 territories to date.<\/p>\n<p>The spin-off <em>Beat The Chasers<\/em> has new adaptations set to premiere in Greece on Mega TV and in Cyprus on Alpha TV Cyprus, bringing the total number of territories for this format to ten.<\/p>\n<p>Ruth Berry, managing director of global partnerships at ITV Studios, said: \u201cWe\u2019re thrilled to announce the expansion of <em>The Chase<\/em> and its spin-off <em>Beat The Chasers<\/em> into new markets, showcasing the strength and scalability of ITV Studios\u2019 extensive format catalog.
