Over the course of 16 episodes, 50 German reality stars will once again compete in the Game Masters\u2019 challenges for the life-changing jackpot prize that will be gifted to one of their followers.<\/p>\n<p>Banijay&#8217;s <em>The Fifty<\/em> now boasts three international iterations. Season two in France returned last year on W9, outperforming season one on nearly all demos and continued its digital success on streaming service 6Play. Telemundo greenlit a second run from EndemolShine Boomdog after ranking as the network\u2019s most-watched program within the U.S. Hispanic market.<\/p>\n<p>Philip Pratt, head of German originals at Prime Video, said: \u201cThroughout the 14 episodes of the first season of <em>The Fifty<\/em>, our viewers enthusiastically followed and rooted for the participants, reveling in the reality drama. We look forward to relaunching the entertainment spectacle with season two, featuring even more episodes, more challenges and, undoubtedly, more drama.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rainer Laux, managing director at Rainer Laux Productions and executive director of EndemolShine Germany, said: \u201cPrime Video\u2019s commission of a second series demonstrates the show\u2019s universal popularity.
