Fremantle\u2019s Vasha Wallace, BBC Studios\u2019 Andr\u00e9 Renaud, Banijay\u2019s James Townley and All3Media International\u2019s Nick Smith will be talking all things formats at the TV Real Festival, taking place from June 18 to 20. You can sign up for your free registration here<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Wallace is executive VP of global acquisitions and development at Fremantle. Renaud is senior VP of global format sales for BBC Studios. Townley is Banijay\u2019s chief content officer for development. Smith is executive VP of formats and licensing at All3Media International. Together, the executives will provide a big-picture look at the current formats landscape, looking at risk-taking, streamers\u2019 impact, co-development, creative exchanges and more.<\/p>\n

These executives join the previously announced roster: documentary filmmaker Dawn Porter, classicist Mary Beard, Snowman Productions\u2019 Michael von W\u00fcrden, BossaNova\u2019s Paul Heaney, Off the Fence\u2019s Bo Stehmeier, Albatross World Sales\u2019 Anne Olzmann, ZDF Studios\u2019 Nikolas H\u00fclbusch, Autentic\u2019s Dr. Patrick H\u00f6rl, Blue Ant Media\u2019s Jamie Schouela and Cineflix Rights\u2019 Mike Gould. A three-day must-attend virtual event taking place a week prior to Sunny Side of the Doc and NATPE Budapest, the inaugural edition of the TV Real Festival will feature keynotes and panels with leading executives and creatives discussing the world of unscripted, from lifestyle, factual entertainment and docs to non-scripted entertainment and game-show formats.
