In the show, couples matched by experts are left on a deserted island for three weeks.<\/p>\n<p>The format was initially commissioned by VTM in Belgium, where two seasons have already aired. <em>Stranded on Honeymoon Island<\/em> has also aired in Portugal (SIC) and Germany (ProSieben) and will debut on Seven Network in Australia this year.<\/p>\n<p>Tim Gerhartz, managing director at Red Arrow Studios International, said: &#8220;We are delighted that RTL Netherlands and FTV Prima are on board to produce <em>Stranded on Honeymoon Island<\/em>. The bringing together of two popular reality genres\u2014dating and adventure\u2014is a winning combination and makes for a heady and unique fast track relationship show in an exotic and genuinely remote setting.
