The new season will introduce the \u201chotline\u201d feature, which will allow the playing contestant to seek advice from their teammates in the waiting room if they\u2019re stuck.<\/p>\n<p>The first episode\u2019s contestants include Dion Dublin, Sam Quek, Melvin Odoom and Joanna Page. Later episodes in the season feature teams of pop icons (Sinitta, Ian \u201cH\u201d Watkins, Ritchie Neville and Una Healy), BBC Morning Live presenters (Gethin Jones, Dr Ranj Singh, Anna Haugh and Briony May Williams) and soap stars (Chris Bisson, Lucy-Jo Hudson, Simon Gregson and Danielle Harold). Other teams include actor Kevin Fletcher and his wife and presenter Alex Beresford and his father. The latter duo recently one <em>Celebrity Race Across the World<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>While <em>Celebrity Bridge of Lies<\/em> will air on Saturday nights, the original <em>Bridge of Lies<\/em> will continue on weekdays.<\/p>\n<p>International format sales, outside of the U.S. and Australia, are handled by BBC Studios Distribution.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have such a brilliant time filming the daytime version of <em>Bridge of Lies<\/em>, but there\u2019s something about the celebrity series that ramps the jeopardy up a gear,\u201d Kemp said. \u201cMaybe it\u2019s the fact that the celebs are doing it for charity\u2026 or simply that they have reputations to uphold!\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued, \u201cThis year\u2019s series is filled with big personalities, and the competition is fiercer than ever. The usual rivalries between popstars, soap stars and comics are left at the door because, as we\u2019ve learned with this show, the only way you can conquer the bridge is by working effectively as a team.
