Matthew Winter has been named director of development at Workerbee.<\/p>\n

In his new role, which takes immediate effect, Winter is responsible for generating the next wave of ideas across Workerbee\u2019s film and formats divisions.<\/p>\n

Winter has worked within the Banijay Group since 2021, having developed shows such as Grand Slammers<\/em> (ITV), Lost Worlds with Ben Fogle<\/em> (Channel 5) and The Big Interiors Battle<\/em> (Channel 4).<\/p>\n

Before joining Banijay, Winter worked in senior development roles at various indies, including Boomerang and Optomen, having spent three years prior at ITV Studios Australia, where he developed Noma Australia<\/em> and helped create local versions of Love Island<\/em>, Hell\u2019s Kitchen<\/em>\u00a0and The Chase<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Winter commented, \u201cWorkerbee is the most exciting production company in the country. Rick, Michelle and the team have achieved so much over the last few years, and I can\u2019t wait to help them create more future hits.\u201d<\/p>\n
