The series is slated to debut this fall.<\/p>\n<p>Andr\u00e9 Renaud, senior VP of global format sales at BBC Studios, said: \u201cThis time two years ago at our annual BBC Studios\u2019 Showcase we presented <em>The 1% Club<\/em> to buyers having already secured three international presales even before the U.K. premiere. It makes it all the more exciting, then, that today we can celebrate Greece\u2019s Star Channel as the milestone tenth country to commission the format at the event where it all began. I know that Star Channel and the team at Green Pixel Productions will deliver a great show, and I look forward to seeing who in Greece will make it into The 1% Club.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Karolos Alkalai, general manager from Star Channel, said: \u201cWe are thrilled to have acquired <em>The 1% Club<\/em>, a fresh and distinct game show based on wits and common sense rather than knowledge. It blends perfectly with Star Channel\u2019s strategy to provide fun and quality entertainment to the Greek audience.
