BBC Studios has licensed The 1% Club<\/em> to TV Azteca for a local remake in Mexico.<\/p>\n

The format, created by Magnum Media, will get a 52×60-minute treatment to be aired on TV Azteca’s owned and operated channels. The deal marks the first commission in Latin America for the multi-award-winning format and the ninth market overall.<\/p>\n

Andr\u00e9 Renaud, senior VP of global format sales at BBC Studios, said: \u201cThe burgeoning and proven success of The 1% Club<\/em> is testament to the format\u2019s versatility and mass appeal. We can\u2019t wait to work with TV Azteca to bring the show to Mexican audiences and see which of them has what it takes to make it into the 1% Club.\u201d<\/p>\n
