Along with exclusive access to two New Jersey police departments, the series will feature real-life dashcam footage of America\u2019s bad drivers.<\/p>\n<p>Following <em>Motorway Cops: Catching Britain\u2019s Speeders<\/em> on Channel 5, 20 all-new 60-minute episodes of the U.K. version with a new police force have been commissioned. The new series will follow Northumbria Police as they patrol the roads in the northeast of England.<\/p>\n<p>Purple Productions\u2019 Pam Cavannagh and Dympna Jackson said: \u201c<em>Motorway Cops<\/em> has been such a big hit with U.K. audiences. These commissions mark an exciting new chapter for the series. We are absolutely thrilled to be working with Channel 5 again and bringing Northumbria Police on board for another installment of the U.K. series, as well as taking <em>Motorway Cops<\/em> across the pond for a U.S. edition with Paramount+.
