Mitre Studios has named Talkback alum and BBC commissioning editor Ed Sleeman as managing director.<\/p>\n
Sleeman will lead the team and drive content opportunities across multiple platforms and genres. Prior to joining Mitre Studios, Sleeman co-founded and served as joint managing director of Great Scott Media. Before Great Scott, he held the position of managing director of Talkback and was a commissioning editor for entertainment at the BBC.<\/p>\n
Mitre Studios was founded in 2011 by Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly\u2014better known as Ant and Dec. Its credits include DNA Journey<\/em>, Limitless Win<\/em>, In For a Penny<\/em>, I\u2019m a Celebrity South Africa<\/em>, The Story of SM:TV Live<\/em>, ITV\u2019s family entertainment hit Ant & Dec\u2019s Saturday Night Takeaway<\/em> and one-off documentary Behind the Screens<\/em>.<\/p>\n Sleeman said: “I am thrilled to be joining Mitre Studios during such an exciting phase for the company.
