It moves backward in time through a string of gruesome murders, gradually unraveling the truth. The detective embarks on an obsessive hunt for the serial killer after the killer leaves a mark on him both physically and mentally. The original is written by Two Brothers Pictures\u2019 Harry and Jack Williams, creators of <em>The Tourist<\/em> and <em>Boat Story<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Banijay Asia will also produce a local version of<em> Rise and Fall<\/em>, a reality competition originally from Studio Lambert and Motion Content Group for Channel 4. A group of contestants from all walks of life becomes part of a social experiment that asks how wealth and power shape the way we behave toward one another. The contestants are split into two groups: the \u201crulers\u201d and the \u201cgrafters.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs content creators and storytellers, we\u2019re always on the lookout for compelling narratives,\u201d said Mrinalini Jain, executive VP of business and content at Banijay Asia. \u201cWe\u2019re excited to secure local adaptation rights for these two very different\u2014yet equally innovative\u2014formats, which are complementary to our own slate and the formats being showcased by Banijay Asia. Tapping into the trend for intelligent reality, <em>Rise and Fall<\/em> delivers much more than a popularity contest, as it weaves the impact of wealth and power into the game, while <em>Rellik<\/em> offers a compelling twist on the traditional crime drama.
