HILVERSUM: The Voice Kids has now reached 35 countries, with the latest license coming from Global TV, part of MNC Group, in Indonesia.

The format has also been adapted in the Netherlands, France, Germany and the U.S. Hispanic market, and recently launched in Brazil and the Middle East. In 2017, the show will debut with a local British version on ITV in the U.K.

Gepke Nederlof, the head of global licensing at Talpa, commented, “At Talpa, we’re very proud that The Voice Kids has reached the 35-country milestone, a number that only a few formats reach. In some countries, The Voice Kids is even more popular than the already successful The Voice. The positive, feel-good vibe with a focus on actual talent and constructive criticism is the perfect tone for a talent show featuring kids. This is exactly what makes The Voice Kids such a strong and successful brand, and we plan to roll out the format in even more territories across the globe.”
