Nippon TV’s Train of Thought Format Licensed in the U.K.

TOKYO: Nippon Television Network Corporation has landed a U.K. format deal for the family game show Train of Thought.

Known as Copycats in the U.K., the format makes its return to British television, after having previously aired from 2009 to 2011 on CBBC. The format has also been adapted in countries such as Taiwan, Indonesia, Thailand and Italy since launching more than 25 years ago.

Yukiko Kimishima, the divisional president of international business development at Nippon TV, commented, “We’re thrilled to be working again with the CBBC and delighted to see the show returning to the U.K. once again.”
