NBCUniversal Bolsters Alternative Entertainment Team

Jenny Ramirez has been appointed by NBCUniversal Television and Streaming as senior VP of entertainment unscripted alternative programming.

Ramirez will be responsible for supervising unscripted development and current productions for reality competitions, talent competitions and game-show formats across NBCU entertainment platforms, including NBC, E!, Peacock and USA Network.

She comes to NBCU following six years at Turner Broadcasting, where she most recently served as senior VP of unscripted programming for TBS, TNT and truTV.

Ramirez reports to Corie Henson, executive VP of entertainment unscripted programming.

“Jenny has an encyclopedic knowledge of every format. She is a thoughtful strategist, leader and a supportive and generous colleague,” said Henson. “She will be an invaluable addition to the brilliant team already in place.”
