Mediaset Italia to Adapt The Anthill

Mediaset Italia has acquired the adaptation rights to Onza Distribution’s Spanish format The Anthill (El Hormiguero).

An Italian treatment is set to be prepped the 2024-25 season. The agreement with Mediaset follows Onza’s sale of the program’s ready-made version to Estrella TV in the U.S. earlier this year.

The format has already been successfully adapted in several countries, including Brazil, Mexico and Portugal.
