Media Ranch Unveils New Spring Catalog

Media Ranch is launching several new formats this spring in time for MIPTV, including dating, cooking, celebrity and entertainment/variety programs.

“We use MIPTV as a true launch for the coming year to present our freshest shows,” says Sophie Ferron, founder, president and executive producer at Media Ranch. “For the past several years, this is the time that people have been focused on formats, and Media Ranch brings some of the best in the world.”

From the DR (Danish Broadcasting Corp) portfolio, Media Ranch is presenting Fish Bingo, a live interactive game format in which 90 fishermen/women go fish while the TV audience plays Bingo using numbers 1 through 90. Here’s Your Hit, a music entertainment program, exploring what makes a hit; and Mom, He’s a Dane is a factual program that highlights the challenges that immigrant families face in a new country, particularly when it comes to dating.

Recipe for Love is a studio-based dating show with a cooking twist for those 50 and over (age adaptable), showing it’s never too late for love. Watch!, Media Ranch’s own hot entertainment/variety game show, pits two teams against each other in a game of memory.

Media Ranch is also presenting six celebrity-featuring game show and factual formats: Surprise Sur prise, a hidden-camera series that plays jokes on international celebrities; Good Times, in which two celebrities compete to guess which year it is by singing, cosplaying, dancing and answering questions; Back to the 9th Grade sees a 40-plus celebrity travel the country and into his past on a mission to surprise his classmates from grade 9; What’s Your Problem?, a celebrity debate game show on what society finds offensive; Things My Dad Failed to Teach Me, in which a celebrity host returns to his childhood home from the city and is given a new skill to master; and Miracle Habits that shows how one small habit can change your life.
