It Takes 2 Heads to RTL Germany

HILVERSUM: RTL Germany has acquired Talpa’s celebrity singing format It Takes 2.

The format sees nine celebrities work with three professional singers, who serve as their coaches. They collaborate to win over the judges and the audience with their newly acquired singing skills. It Takes 2 was renewed for a sophomore season in the Netherlands following a successful first season on RTL4.

Maarten Meijs, the managing director of Talpa Global, said, “It Takes 2 is a combination of proven successful elements: celebrities, singing, competition and humor. It’s a show for all ages that has found the perfect home in Germany at RTL, and we’re looking forward to working together on creating the ultimate entertainment show.”
