In Lieu of Flowers Set for Italian Adaptation

ComediHa! Distribution has sold the variety format In Lieu of Flowers into Italy, where it will be adapted by Asacha Media Group’s Stand By Me.

Originally produced by Zone3, the show sees celebrity guests attend their own fully improvised funeral services. Their loved ones deliver their eulogies in the form of monologues, variety acts (singing, dancing), comedy sketches and testimonials, while the guest star stands in the corner, confronted with the ups and downs of their life.

Hosted by Patrice L’Écuyer, In Lieu of Flowers has aired on ICI Radio-Canada Télé for the past 12 seasons.
