{"id":9991,"date":"2020-02-18T09:38:48","date_gmt":"2020-02-18T14:38:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tveurope\/nent-group-disney-extend-content-partnership\/"},"modified":"2020-02-18T12:14:05","modified_gmt":"2020-02-18T17:14:05","slug":"nent-group-disney-extend-content-partnership","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tveurope\/2020\/02\/18\/nent-group-disney-extend-content-partnership\/","title":{"rendered":"NENT Group &amp; Disney Extend Content Partnership"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nordic Entertainment Group (NENT Group) and The Walt Disney Company Nordic have extended their long-term content relationship in a new multiyear deal that will see the latest 20th Century Studios films premiere exclusively on Viaplay and Viasat across the Nordic region.<\/p>\n<p>For the first time, NENT Group\u2019s Viaplay streaming service and Viasat pay-TV channels will have the exclusive first-pay window for the latest blockbuster films from 20th Century Studios in the Nordic region. This includes <em>Bohemian Rhapsody<\/em>, <em>The Favourite<\/em>, <em>Jojo Rabbit<\/em> and <em>Ford v Ferrari<\/em>, alongside the most recent installment in the successful <em>Terminator<\/em> franchise.<\/p>\n<p>Viaplay viewers can also continue to enjoy new and established ABC series such as <em>Grey\u2019s Anatomy<\/em> and a selection of 20th Century Studios library films. Two of ABC\u2019s hottest recent series will also receive Nordic premieres on NENT Group\u2019s platforms: the sci-fi mystery thriller <em>Emergence<\/em> and <em>Good Trouble<\/em>, a spin-off from the hit drama <em>The Fosters<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, Disney\u2019s boutique of channels, including Disney Channel, Disney Junior and Disney XD, will continue to be available to Viasat subscribers across Sweden, Norway, Denmark and Finland. Viasat subscribers will also have access to extended catch-up of the latest series from the Disney TV channels.<\/p>\n<p>Filippa Wallestam, NENT Group&#8217;s chief content officer, said: \u201cThis agreement will extend our relationship with Disney to nearly 20 years and showcases both the popularity of their content with our viewers and the fantastic viewing experiences available on Viaplay and Viasat.
