The two creators and ProSiebenSat.1 have established Pyjama Pictures.<\/p>\n<p>The first Pyjama Pictures project will be the fourth season of\u00a0<em>jerks.<\/em>\u00a0in 2020 for the streaming platform Joyn and subsequent free-TV broadcasting on ProSieben. In addition, Pyjama Pictures will produce content for all ProSiebenSat.1 platforms\u2014both linear and digital\u2014as well as for external partners. Its focus will be on German-language and local content. There are already several ideas and developments in the pipeline.<\/p>\n<p>Ulmen said: \u201cWe love each other. Carsten Kelber, the company and me. We will give the German series lots of new children\u2014both well-behaved kids and naughty little brats. It\u2019s going to be loud.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Kelber added: \u201cChristian and I met each other through <em>jerks.<\/em> and can hardly wait to intensify this collaboration and expand into other genres. We are eagerly looking forward to more great projects and are already enjoying creative exchanges with our shareholder\u2019s channels, as well as with external partners and platforms.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Wolfgang Link, co-CEO for entertainment at ProSiebenSat.1, said: \u201cProSiebenSat.1 always wants to work with the best\u2014and as intensively as possible. Christian Ulmen and Carsten Kelber stand like hardly any other producer team for special and excellent fiction. And make our medium better and simply unique with their productions. With Pyjama Pictures we want to produce first-class fiction for our stations and platforms as well as for the entire German market in the future.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Henrik Pabst, chief commercial officer for entertainment at ProSiebenSat.1, commented: \u201cChristian and Carsten are among the most acclaimed local production experts in Germany.
