{"id":9597,"date":"2019-09-25T09:07:20","date_gmt":"2019-09-25T13:07:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dev2.worldscreen.com\/tveurope\/malaka-promises-sand-lead-rtves-mipcom-slate\/"},"modified":"2019-10-25T09:31:39","modified_gmt":"2019-10-25T13:31:39","slug":"malaka-promises-of-sand-lead-rtves-mipcom-slate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tveurope\/2019\/09\/25\/malaka-promises-of-sand-lead-rtves-mipcom-slate\/","title":{"rendered":"Malaka &amp; Promises of Sand Lead RTVE\u2019s MIPCOM Slate"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>RTVE is bringing to MIPCOM an array of fiction titles, including the police thriller <em>Malaka<\/em>, <em>Promises of Sand<\/em> and the daily series <em>Central Market<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p><em>Malaka<\/em> revolves around the disappearance of an important businessman\u2019s daughter and the appearance of a new drug called \u201cGold\u201d that could upset the balance between two rival drug gangs. <em>Promises of Sand<\/em>\u00a0tells the story of an NGO worker in a refugee camp in Libya, and <em>Central Market<\/em> portrays the lives of those who work and live in and around a big city market.<\/p>\n<p>The second season of <em>The Other View<\/em>, which continues with the story of teachers revolutionizing education in a girls\u2019 school in 1920s Spain; the third season of\u00a0<em>I\u2019m Alive<\/em>; and <em>The Hunt. Monteperdido<\/em>, a series about the disappearance of two 11-year-old girls, will also be available. The series <em>Betrayal<\/em>, <em>El Continental<\/em>, <em>Detectives<\/em>, <em>Acacias 38<\/em>, <em>Six Sisters<\/em>, <em>To Serve<\/em> <em>and Protect<\/em>, <em>V\u00edctor Ros<\/em>, <em>Crime Times<\/em> and the TV movies <em>Lope in Love<\/em> and <em>Murder at the University<\/em> will be available as well.<\/p>\n<p>In the documentary genre, RTVE\u2019s latest productions include: <em>Joan Tarrag\u00f3. The Librarian of Mauthausen<\/em>, <em>Equipo D. The Forgotten Codes<\/em> and <em>The Spanish Skies<\/em>, about tycoon Randolf Hearst\u2019s purchase of 83 Mudejar ceilings in Spain in the early 20th century. RTVE will also present <em>La Zarzuela, Big, Small, Tiny<\/em>, which gives a tour of Spanish musical theater, and<em> Manolo Sanl\u00facar, the Legacy<\/em>. <em>Carlos V, the Ways of the Emperador<\/em>\u00a0recounts his final trip towards his retirement in the Monastery of Yuste. <em>Spherical<\/em>, a doc that relives the first trip around the world carried out by Magallanes and Elcano;
