Killing Eve<\/em> has earned 14 nominations for the Virgin Media British Academy Television Awards and British Academy Television Craft Awards, followed by A Very English Scandal<\/em> with 12 nods.<\/p>\n

Other shows with multiple nominations include Patrick Melrose<\/em> with six, Bodyguard<\/em> and The Little Drummer Girl<\/em> with five each and four each for Mrs Wilson<\/em> and Mum<\/em>.\u00a0Bros: After the Screaming Stops<\/em>, Bandersnatch<\/em> (Black Mirror<\/em>), The Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance<\/em>, Sally4Ever<\/em>, Save Me<\/em> and Would I Lie To You?<\/em> each scored three nominations.<\/p>\n

In drama series, BBC One has three contenders: Bodyguard<\/em>, Informer<\/em> and Killing Eve<\/em>, with Sky Atlantic’s Save Me<\/em> rounding out the category. For miniseries, the nominees are BBC One’s\u00a0 A Very English Scandal<\/em> and Mrs Wilson<\/em>, Channel 4’s Kiri<\/em> and Sky Atlantic’s\u00a0Patrick Melrose<\/em>.\u00a0Bandersnatch<\/em> (Black Mirror<\/em>), Care<\/em>, Killed By My Debt<\/em> and Through The Gates<\/em> (On The Edge<\/em>) are up for single drama. In the soaps and continuing drama category, the contenders are\u00a0Casualty<\/em>, Coronation Street<\/em>, Eastenders<\/em> and Hollyoaks<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Lead actor nods went to Benedict Cumberbatch for Patrick Melrose<\/em>, Chance Perdomo for Killed By My Debt<\/em>, Hugh Grant for A Very English Scandal<\/em>\u00a0and Lucian Msamati for Kiri<\/em>. In the leading actress category, Killing Eve<\/em>‘s\u00a0Jodie Comer and Sandra Oh earned nominations alongside\u00a0Keeley Hawes for Bodyguard<\/em> and Ruth Wilson for\u00a0Mrs Wilson<\/em>.<\/p>\n

In the international category, nominations went to ARD Degeto’s\u00a054 Hours: The Gladbeck Hostage Crisis<\/em> on\u00a0BBC Four, MGM and Hulu’s The Handmaid\u2019s Tale<\/em>\u00a0on Channel 4, Radical Media’s Reporting Trump\u2019s First Year: The Fourth Estate<\/em> on BBC Two and HBO’s Succession<\/em> on Sky Atlantic.<\/p>\n

Scripted comedy contenders are Derry Girls<\/em>, Mum<\/em>, Sally4ever<\/em> and Stath Lets Flats.<\/em><\/p>\n

For comedy entertainment, nominees are Channel 4’s The Big Narstie Show<\/em> and The Last Leg<\/em>, Sky One’s A League of Their Own<\/em> and BBC One’s Would I Lie To You?<\/em>\u00a0In entertainment, nods went to two ITV shows\u2014Ant & Dec\u2019s Saturday Night Takeaway<\/em>\u00a0and Britain\u2019s Got Talent<\/em>\u2014and two BBC series, Strictly Come Dancing<\/em> and\u00a0Michael Mcintyre\u2019s Big Show<\/em>.<\/p>\n

The current affairs nominees are Al Jazeera English’s\u00a0Football\u2019s Wall of Silence<\/em>, ITV’s Iran Unveiled: Taking on the Ayatollahs<\/em> and Channel 4’s Massacre at Ballymurphy<\/em> and Myanmar\u2019s Killing Fields.\u00a0\u00a0<\/em>The factual series up for BAFTAs are\u00a024 Hours In A&E<\/em>, Life And Death Row: The Mass Execution<\/em>,\u00a0Louis Theroux\u2019s Altered States<\/em> and Prison<\/em>. In the features category, the nominees are\u00a0Gordon, Gino And Fred\u2019s Road Trip<\/em>, The Great British Bake Off<\/em>, Mortimer & Whitehouse: Gone Fishing<\/em> and Who Do You Think You Are?<\/em>\u00a0 In reality and constructed factual, the shows up for awards are Dragons\u2019 Den<\/em>, I\u2019m A Celebrity\u2026Get Me Out Of Here!<\/em>, Old People\u2019s Home For 4 Year Olds<\/em> and The Real Full Monty: Ladies\u2019 Night<\/em>.
