Inspired by a true story, <em>Mrs. Wilson<\/em> from Snowed-In Productions looks on as a widow encounters another woman claiming to be the \u201creal\u201d Mrs. Wilson.<\/p>\n<p>These three series \u201cwill show us what it\u2019s like to hunt for a killer in a strange land, the challenges of undercover policing and the secrets even our families can keep from us,\u201d says David Swetman, the VP of acquisitions at all3media international. Another highlight, hailing from Company Pictures, is the Irish thriller <em>Blood<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s a privilege to work closely with innovative and successful producers who are making programs with some of the best creative talents in the industry,\u201d\u00a0Swetman says.<\/p>\n<p>Following on the success of <em>Liar<\/em> comes <em>Cheat<\/em>, a new series from Two Brothers Pictures. Sundance Now has taken the North American rights for the four-part drama, which focuses on the dangerous relationship between a university professor and her student. \u201cWhile shorter-run series were [once] harder for us to place in the U.S., we\u2019re finding that given the volume of content being released annually, viewers welcome a quick binge-worthy show,\u201d says Maria Ishak, the VP of sales for North America at all3media international.<\/p>\n<p>Another highlight for MIPCOM is <em>Drowning in Plastic<\/em>, a 90-minute special that investigates the impact that plastics are having on coastlines and natural habitats worldwide.
