At the Showcase, the series drew interest from companies in Portugal, Finland and Latin America.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Paz Vega stars in the thriller <em>Fugitive<\/em>, another\u00a0series from\u00a0RTVE&#8217;s catalog. The renowned Spanish actress plays Magda, a woman whose world falls apart at a crucial time in her life, forcing her to make a drastic decision to save herself and her three children. Also a thriller, <em>I\u2019m Alive<\/em> blends murder mysteries and the supernatural. The story begins when Andr\u00e9s Vargas, a police inspector, dies as he is pursuing a serial killer. He comes back to life five years later in the body of another police officer, played by Javier Guti\u00e9rrez.<\/p>\n<p>RTP in Portugal showed interested in co-producing with RTVE new episodes of the <em>Spanish World Heritage Cities<\/em> documentary to cover World Heritage cities in Portugal. Additionally, RTVE began discussions with the culture channel HITN regarding co-producing a documentary about the Spanish language in the U.S. Two U.S. broadcasters picked up the rights for the docu-drama <em>Centro M\u00e9dico<\/em>, while <em>Traici\u00f3n<\/em> will be broadcasted by a pan-regional operator in Latin America. Additionally, RTVE confirmed it is joining the strategic alliance between ZDF, RAI and France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions to promote content co-production.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWith its portfolio of channels and content, RTVE disseminates the best entertainment, news reports and educational content in Spanish throughout the world,\u201d said Mar\u00eda Jes\u00fas P\u00e9rez, the international sales director for RTVE.<\/p>\n<p>The Showcase in Madrid was attended by actors, creators, scriptwriters, executive producers and directors of the main production companies operating in Spain, including Plano a Plano, Boomerang, Ganga, Lavinia, Gossip Events, Zebra, Globomedia, The Good Mood and Aqu\u00ed y All\u00ed Films. These professionals, as well as TVE\u2019s production managers and sales executives from RTVE\u2019s international sales division, provided an overview of their products and explained their project workflow and other insights.<\/p>\n<p>There was a presentation about the success of <em>Remember When<\/em> (<em>Cu\u00e9ntame C\u00f3mo Pas\u00f3<\/em>), a series that has aired more than 300 episodes to consistently successful ratings.
