WDR mediagroup (WDRmg) has absorbed its wholly owned subsidiary the RC Release Company into the parent company, forming a new sales and direct publishing department.<\/p>\n

The Release Company, previously run by Managing Director Ingo Vandr\u00e9, and the content sales area have been merged to form the new department, under the management of Vandr\u00e9.<\/p>\n

The newly created department will encompass all of the sales and marketing activities for the audiovisual content of WDRmg and third parties. The Release Company brand will be kept for publishing in-house program portfolios and the acquisition of external licenses.<\/p>\n

CEO\u00a0Michael Loeb said: “We can be proud of what both teams have accomplished thus far. Consolidating them allows us to optimally cater to current market requirements under a centralized management. The new structure means we can now market all of our products under one roof while simultaneously paving the way for the requisite growth in the home entertainment and digital sales sector.”<\/p>\n

Vandr\u00e9, head of the sales and direct publishing department, added: “Bundling our entire content marketing, product development and third-party content distribution activities under one roof not only makes strategic sense but allows us to offer our customers the best possible service too. Besides expanding our sales and marketing activities, our main focus will be on investing in the development of our digital business segments and multi-client-capable infrastructures.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
