As MTG prepares to split into two companies, the leadership team has been put in place for the Nordic Entertainment Group, which will report to President and CEO Anders Jensen.<\/p>\n
Nordic Entertainment Group will comprise MTG\u2019s current Nordic Entertainment and MTG Studios business segments, as well as Splay Networks. This includes the Viasat pay-TV operations, the Viaplay and Viafree streaming services, MTG\u2019s free-TV channels and radio stations, 30 production companies and Splay\u2019s social video and influencer networks.<\/p>\n
As of July 1, the team will feature Kim Poder as executive VP, group CCO and CEO for Denmark. Poder will be responsible for driving Nordic Entertainment Group\u2019s commercial strategy and execution.<\/p>\n
Matthew Hooper becomes executive VP, group head of corporate affairs (including responsibility for investor relations) and CEO for the U.K. As CEO U.K. with immediate effect, Hooper will be responsible for the management of MTG\u2019s and subsequently Nordic Entertainment Group\u2019s U.K.-based operations.<\/p>\n
Gabriel Catrina will be executive VP, group chief strategy officer and head of M&A.<\/p>\n
Jakob Mejlhede has been named executive VP, group head of content. He is currently MTG’s executive VP and head of programming and content development.<\/p>\n
Morten Aass, currently CEO of MTG Norway, becomes senior VP and CEO for Norway.<\/p>\n
Currently CEO of Viasat Finland, Mathias Norrback will be senior VP and CEO for Finland.<\/p>\n
Morten Mogensen will continue in his current role of CEO of nice entertainment group.<\/p>\n
Alexander Bastin becomes senior VP, head of Viaplay and Viafree. Bastin is currently MTG’s senior VP and head of Viaplay and Viafree.<\/p>\n
Susan Gustafsson will be senior VP, group general counsel.<\/p>\n
Kaj af Kleen will be serving as senior VP, group chief technology and product officer, responsible for driving the group\u2019s efforts in product, design, data and technology across all platforms.<\/p>\n
Kim Mikkelsen takes on the post of senior VP, group head of sport.<\/p>\n
Peter N\u00f8rrelund, currently MTG’s executive VP and CEO of MTG Sport, will be an advisor to the president and CEO of Nordic Entertainment Group, focusing on the company\u2019s sports rights portfolio. N\u00f8rrelund will also continue as MTG’s executive VP after the company split.<\/p>\n
Jennie Jacobs will be senior VP, group and U.K. head of human resources.<\/p>\n
As previously announced, Filippa Wallestam has been appointed MTG’s senior VP and CEO of Sweden and the future senior VP and CEO of Nordic Entertainment Group Sweden.<\/p>\n
The recruitment of the CFO for Nordic Entertainment Group, as well as for certain leadership positions for the remaining MTG, is ongoing.<\/p>\n
