Eurosport has partnered with Facebook to expand its Winter Olympic Games digital coverage across Europe.<\/p>\n
Facebook communities in Germany, Sweden and Norway will be able to tune in live to Eurosport\u2019s coverage of the PyeongChang 2018 Opening Ceremony today.\u00a0Daily highlights,\u00a0clips and interviews from Eurosport\u2019s coverage will also be posted throughout the Games on Eurosport\u2019s Facebook page across key European markets, including the U.K., Germany, Italy, Sweden and Norway.\u00a0Eurosport launched a dedicated mobile digital studio moving between Olympic venues and producing social-first short-form clips with athletes, influencers and fans, giving audiences the chance to go behind-the-scenes at the Olympic Winter Games and experience the on-site atmosphere.<\/p>\n
Eurosport will deliver live and on-demand coverage of the Olympic Winter Games across all screens in 48 countries. Eurosport Digital platforms will host more than 4,000 hours of coverage and 100 events will be available, including 900 hours of live action, which is more than has ever before been available across the continent. Eurosport is working with digital and social media influencers on-site in PyeongChang to amplify its coverage of the Games. Josh Carrott and Ollie Kendal, (hosts of The Korean Englishman<\/em>) will stream a daily 45-minute Livestream show called “The Afterparty,\u201d featuring appearances from Eurosport talent, athletes, fans and fellow influencers. Eurosport will leverage Facebook to amplify highlights from\u00a0\u201cThe Afterparty\u201d\u00a0and other influencers Facebook users in Europe.<\/p>\n Michael Lang, the president of DNI Digital and Eurosport Digital, said:\u00a0<\/strong>\u201cFor the first time in close to 50 European countries, one digital provider will stream every minute of every Olympic Games event, starting with the Olympics ceremony this\u00a0Friday from PyeongChang.
