{"id":8137,"date":"2018-01-03T10:34:01","date_gmt":"2018-01-03T15:34:01","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tveurope\/m6-altice-sfr-new-distribution-pact\/"},"modified":"2018-01-03T13:36:11","modified_gmt":"2018-01-03T18:36:11","slug":"m6-altice-sfr-in-new-distribution-pact","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tveurope\/2018\/01\/03\/m6-altice-sfr-in-new-distribution-pact\/","title":{"rendered":"M6 &#038; Altice-SFR in New Distribution Pact"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new\u00a0agreement has been inked regarding the distribution of M6 Group channels and their associated services for SFR (Altice) subscribers.<\/p>\n<p>The pact covers a wide range of features and services to SFR subscribers in addition to the transmission of the live signals of all M6 Group free-to-air (M6, W9, 6ter) and thematic channels (Paris Premi\u00e8re, T\u00e9va, M6 Music, M6 Boutique, Best of Shopping and Girondins TV), as well as the 6play service. In addition to the catch-up TV services already available under the previous agreement, SFR subscribers will now have access to on-demand content available for more than seven days, and even in excess of 30 days for\u00a0some programs, as well as season stacking.<\/p>\n<p>In all, more than 1,000 hours of original new drama, cooking and adventure programs will be available at any time and on-demand on all types of devices, exclusive to subscribers of the operators. M6 Group&#8217;s new enhanced TV service will soon be available.<\/p>\n<p>The partnership also includes M6 Group assuming the transmission costs of the free-to-air channels. The two groups have agreed to work together to develop innovative advertising marketing solutions and systems in connection with M6 Group\u2019s programs.<\/p>\n<p>Nicolas de Tavernost, chairman of the executive board of M6 Group, said: &#8220;We are delighted with the signing of this groundbreaking partnership, which has been concluded after tough negotiations on both sides. The result is a balanced agreement that highlights the value of M6 Group\u2019s programs and technological innovations, which will be available to SFR subscribers from the beginning of 2018.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Alain Weill, chairman and CEO of SFR, said: &#8220;SFR is pleased to have reached an agreement with M6 and now SFR subscribers will benefit from these new high-value-added services and programs.
