Groupe AB has inked a deal with Activision Blizzard (Call of Duty<\/em>, World of Warcraft<\/em>) for the exclusive television broadcasting rights in French-speaking Europe to the interactive entertainment company’s franchises.<\/p>\n

As of December, Groupe AB will create on one of its channels two three-hour program blocks entirely dedicated to eSports and airing the best of the competitions based on Activision Blizzard brands. The agreement also gives Groupe AB the option to launch an eSport channel that will be the exclusive TV home of Activision Blizzard programs as well as third-party content.<\/p>\n

In addition, Groupe AB and Activision Blizzard will collaborate on promotion and marketing to organize eSport events and competitions in France.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
