BBC One has lined up a new six-part music series featuring top U.K. and international stars for live broadcast this fall.<\/p>\n
Each half-hour episode will showcase live music performances, sketches and interviews with popular bands and artists. Fulwell 73 was commissioned to produce the series, which was ordered by Charlotte Moore, the director of BBC Content, and Jan Younghusband, the head of commissioning for BBC Music.<\/p>\n
Bob Shennan, the director of BBC Radio and Music, said, \u201cThe BBC is the biggest music broadcaster in the U.K. and we are always looking for new ways to bring music to our audiences. This series will be a fantastic opportunity to showcase the biggest and best U.K. and international bands and artists, and we\u2019re looking forward to working with one of the world\u2019s most innovative and creative TV production companies.\u201d<\/p>\n
