He has also developed a range of dramas for BBC Wales. Minchin has been executive producer and producer on such shows as Russell T Davies\u2019 <em>Midsummer Night\u2019s Dream<\/em>, <em>Being Human<\/em>, <em>The Game<\/em> and <em>The Sarah Jane Adventures<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Hartswood&#8217;s recent drama productions include\u00a0<em>Jekyll<\/em>, <em>Me &amp; Mrs Jones<\/em>, <em>The Guilty<\/em> and the global hit <em>Sherlock<\/em>, starring Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman.<\/p>\n<p>Sue Vertue, producer and board director at Hartswood, said: \u201cBrian\u2019s brilliance and enthusiasm were evident throughout his years at the BBC, and we are delighted that he is joining us at Hartswood Films to develop drama out of our Cardiff office. Hartswood Films established a base in Cardiff in 2010 and we have already produced a number of high-profile productions there. Brian\u2019s addition to the team will help nurture the growing number of quality dramas being produced in Wales.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Moffat, board director at Hartswood, said: &#8220;I\u2019ve worked very closely with Brian for the last four years, on <em>Doctor Who<\/em>, and he\u2019s a brilliant and creative producer and a good friend. Now that I\u2019m leaving <em>Who<\/em> to concentrate on Hartswood projects, I couldn\u2019t be more delighted that Brian is doing the same.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Minchin commented: \u201cI\u2019m thrilled to be joining Hartswood and very excited about being part of the future plans of such a brilliant company. I couldn\u2019t hope to find a more talented team of producers.
