He is charged with bolstering the company&#8217;s footprint abroad.<\/p>\n<p>Before this appointment, Bryan was managing director at Endemol Shine Beyond UK, where his accomplishments included overseeing the development of the division&#8217;s first YouTube Red series, <em>DanTDM Creates a Big Scene<\/em>, and launching a number of online channels, such as\u00a0Rule&#8217;m Sports. He also managed Beyond&#8217;s branded entertainment arm.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe see tremendous opportunity in international markets with more OTT services emerging, and a clear demand for more youth-focused content,\u201d said Bauer. \u201cAs our first international hub, the U.K. market was a logical step, being well known for having an extraordinary creative talent pool and producing content that travels globally. With Randel coming on board, with his unique experience of building a digital-first premium content business, we are fulfilling an early ambition to accelerate our presence outside of the U.S.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bryan added: \u201cI\u2019ve been able to watch the digital content industry grow firsthand, from short-form sketches, and channels, through to scripted series. With the trend continuing to move towards more premium content, I believe it\u2019s the perfect time to join such a progressive studio that has the ability to deliver the best content to audiences, regardless of platform, format or device.
