Julien Leroux has been named executive VP of sales and content development for Newen Distribution’s new U.K. subsidiary.<\/p>\n
Leroux joined Newen Distribution in 2011 as sales and acquisitions director and most recently served as deputy managing director in charge of international sales. In his new position, which is based in London, Leroux will continue\u00a0selling\u00a0the catalog, working with English and American broadcasters and developing partnerships with U.K. and U.S. producers. He will collaborate with B\u00e9rang\u00e8re Legrand, who is responsible for acquisitions.<\/p>\n
In 2005, Leroux started his career at France T\u00e9l\u00e9visions, where he handled international sales for dramas and documentaries. The following year, he was hired by The AB Group as international sales manager, with oversight of Asia, the Middle East, Latin America and Eastern Europe.
