Keshet International is expanding its European footprint with the acquisition of the Munich-based production company Tresor TV Produktions\u00a0from\u00a0Holger Roost-Macias.<\/p>\n
The venture is known for its reality, factual entertainment and variety output, having produced adaptations of formats such as Top Model<\/em>, Popstars<\/em>, Supernanny <\/em>and\u00a0Survivor<\/em>. Keshet International will assist in accelerating Tresor’s expansion, including creating a new scripted division with the company.\u00a0Tresor will continue to adapt third-party formats and develop original non-scripted IP.<\/p>\n Axel K\u00fchn, managing director of Tresor, will continue in his role, reporting to\u00a0Sammy Nourmand, Keshet International’s managing director for the U.K. and Western Europe. Working with\u00a0Nelly Feld, Keshet’s head of sales and business development,\u00a0K\u00fchn will assist in expanding the business in Germany.\u00a0Roost-Macias is exiting the production business.<\/p>\n \u201cThe acquisition of Tresor marks a new frontier for KI as we enter our next phase of global growth,” commented CEO Alon Shtruzman. “We want to thank Holger Roost-Macias for his leadership and legacy, which made Tresor such an attractive prospect for us.”<\/p>\n Nourmand, who brokered the deal, added, \u201cWe take great care in choosing our partnerships and pride ourselves on working with the best local talent.
