The series combines \u201cdark humor with a range of sappy and\u00a0odd yet truly likable protagonists,\u201d she adds.<\/p>\n<p>The dramedy <em>ZombieLars<\/em> focuses on a 12-year-old half-zombie and his friends with certain supernatural characteristics who have a series of strange adventures. \u201cThis is one of these rare live-action series for kids 8 to 12 and adults alike,\u201d Heidrich says. \u201cWith a classy Scandinavian look, it is fearless when it comes to\u00a0poop jokes in order to reach the\u00a0younger audiences with its more than relevant underlying\u00a0topic of xenophobia and social marginalization of others,\u201d says Heidrich. She also notes that the show is the \u201coptimal format and content for online platforms,\u201d as the episodes are 15 minutes in length.<\/p>\n<p>The movie <em>Redemption Road<\/em> is about a German-Jewish judge and his family who are torn apart by the Nazis and WWII. \u201cThis is not the classic Nazi piece,\u201d Heidrich says, as the epic family saga spans decades and continents.
