MUNICH: Tele M\u00fcnchen now holds a majority stake in Odeon Film, upping its interest from 43.3 percent to 85.23 percent.<\/p>\n

Tele M\u00fcnchen made the takeover offer for Odeon Film, a leading producer of TV series and movies, feature films and docs, in December. Its financials will now be fully consolidated with those of Tele M\u00fcnchen, which said it will “support the strategic alignment of Odeon Film AG even more closely.”<\/p>\n

Dr. Herbert G. Kloiber, founder of Tele M\u00fcnchen Group, commented, \u201cThe business of Odeon Film AG has been developing very positively already for the last six years when we first acquired shares. We look forward to working together with the board and the employees of Odeon Film AG on a sustainable strategic alignment and to driving the company\u2019s success further forward.\u201d<\/p>\n
