McIntyre will once again host the six-part series, which will be recorded in front of a live audience in the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane.<\/p>\n<p>Season two of <em>Michael McIntyre\u2019s Big Show<\/em> began airing on Saturday night on BBC One, with an average 6.2 million viewers. The series is produced by Hungry McBear Media.<\/p>\n<p>McIntyre commented: \u201cMaking the <em>Big Show<\/em> has been the most fun I&#8217;ve had on TV. There are so many wonderful surprises and performances to come in the current series and I couldn&#8217;t be more thrilled and excited to be making a third series next year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Commissioning Editor Alan Tyler added: \u201cMichael is a true star and in the <em>Big Show<\/em> he has brought something really special to Saturday nights on BBC One. We are delighted that the series will be returning in 2017 and cannot wait to bring our audience more big laughs, big stars and big surprises.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dan Baldwin, the managing director of Hungry McBear Media, said: &#8220;We are all delighted <em>Michael McIntyre\u2019s Big Show<\/em> is coming back for its third series. It&#8217;s brilliant working so closely with one of the world&#8217;s best comedians. Michael is proving that he is fast becoming one of the best entertainment hosts too.
