MUNICH: The ProSiebenSat.1 Group has established glomex\u2014The Global Media Exchange, an online platform for trading premium video content.<\/p>\n

Collaborations with more than 20 companies have already been secured, including with German providers BILD and Deutsche Telekom, as well as NetInfo and Nova (Bulgaria) and Phaistos Networks (Greece).<\/p>\n

Managing directors of glomex are Michael Jaschke (CEO) and Arnd M\u00fcckenberger (CFO), who will both also remain managing directors of the sister company ProSiebenSat.1 Digital.<\/p>\n

The new company is a technical service provider and offers all solutions associated with the publication of video content. It aims at creating a platform for syndicating professional video content.<\/p>\n

“With glomex, we are building a network of networks, enabling frictionless distribution and monetization of videos\u2014for major publishers as well as for small, highly specialized apps,” said Jaschke. “We are working 24\/7 on establishing a marketplace that will put all market participants in a position to cost-efficiently include videos into their websites and apps as major revenue drivers.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
