Malorie Blackman\u2019s story of first love in a dangerous, adrenaline-fueled fictional dystopia is being adapted by Levi David Addai with Matthew Graham.<\/p>\n<p>Along with the commission of a fourth season of <em>Line of Duty<\/em>, BBC One is getting a new six-part drama from the same team. <em>Bodyguard<\/em> is created and written by Jed Mercurio and produced by World Production. The contemporary thriller features the Royalty and Specialist Protection Branch (RaSP) of London&#8217;s Metropolitan Police Service.<\/p>\n<p>The network also commissioned the Scottish drama <em>Trust Me<\/em> from RED Production Company. The four-part character-led thriller is written by Dan Sefton. It is set in Edinburgh and tells the story of Cathy, a hardworking and skilled nurse, who, having lost her job for whistleblowing, is forced to take drastic measures to provide for her daughter.<\/p>\n<p><em>The Split<\/em> is a new original drama series from writer Abi Morgan (<em>River<\/em>, <em>Suffragette<\/em>, <em>The Hour<\/em>) and executive producer Jane Featherstone (<em>Broadchurch<\/em>, <em>River<\/em>, <em>Humans<\/em>), produced by Sister Pictures. It examines the fast-paced circuit of high-powered female divorce lawyers, through the lens of three sisters.<\/p>\n<p>BBC One also has new factual commissions, including <em>Serengeti<\/em>. The production will use specially created camera devices, including moving spy cameras, to film the animals of the Serengeti.
