LONDON: Twentieth Century Fox Television Distribution (TCFTVD) has appointed David Smyth as its new senior VP and managing director for Europe, succeeding Steve Cornish, who is retiring after three decades with the company.<\/p>\n
Smyth was most recently senior VP of sales and development at TCFTVD. He has been with Fox’s TV distribution arm since 2009. Taking over responsibility for the London office, Smyth’s remit includes oversight of the day-to-day operations of the division as well as distribution activity and expansion of business relationships with broadcasters across Europe and Russia. <\/p>\n
