{"id":6843,"date":"2016-06-28T07:08:49","date_gmt":"2016-06-28T11:08:49","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tveurope\/beyond-notches-up-100-plus-hours-of-sales-with-cee-broadcasters\/"},"modified":"2016-06-28T15:30:06","modified_gmt":"2016-06-28T19:30:06","slug":"beyond-notches-up-100-plus-hours-of-sales-with-cee-broadcasters","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tveurope\/2016\/06\/28\/beyond-notches-up-100-plus-hours-of-sales-with-cee-broadcasters\/","title":{"rendered":"Beyond Notches Up 100-Plus Hours of Sales with CEE Broadcasters"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>BUDAPEST: Beyond Distribution has sold more than 100 hours of programming to broadcasters in Central and Eastern Europe, including a package deal with Poland\u2019s TV Spektrum.<\/p>\n<p>TV Spektrum acquired 45 hours of programming, including such titles as <em>Stranger in My Home<\/em>, <em>When Surgical Tools Get Left Behind<\/em>, <em>Engineered<\/em>, <em>Manufactured<\/em> and <em>Secret Files of the Inquisition<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Also in Poland, Telewizja Polska picked up season eight of <em>Deadly Women<\/em>, which explores the psychological motivation that drives certain females to become murderers.<\/p>\n<p>Serbian broadcaster TV Kanal Ultra scooped up all three seasons of the kids&#8217; science show <em>Backyard Science<\/em>, based on the best-selling Dorling Kindersley book of the same name.<\/p>\n<p>Zoe Allen, sales executive at Beyond Distribution, who is attending NATPE Budapest, said: \u201cBroadcasters in Central and Eastern Europe have always been an important focus for Beyond. The demand for factual crime and kids&#8217; series continue, and we have seen an increased interest in medical-based series.
