LONDON: The newly unveiled Sky Cinema is set to replace Sky Movies in the U.K. and Ireland, with the revamped service promising to have a new film premiere every day.<\/p>\n
The improved Sky Cinema offering will feature a new premiere every day of the week, marking a 75-percent increase on the four per week offered by Sky Movies. HD will be offered as standard to all Sky Cinema customers on the Sky and Virgin Media platforms.<\/p>\n
Major movies are available eight months after cinema release. Among the titles that will be offered are Spectre<\/em> (July 8), Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation<\/em> (July 9), Steve Jobs<\/em> (September 18), Bridge of Spies<\/em> (September 30) and The Danish Girl<\/em> (October 23). The Jungle Book<\/em>, Zootopia<\/em> and Captain America: Civil War<\/em> are set to headline Sky\u2019s Christmas movie collection. Sky Cinema will also be the home of Star Wars<\/em> and other blockbuster franchises.<\/p>\n Sky Cinema will be the largest dedicated movie subscription service in Europe, as Sky\u2019s movie services in Germany, Austria and Italy are also rebranded and relaunched under the new name.
