STOCKHOLM: Hanne Palmquist, who has worked at Danish Film Institute and SVT, has been named commissioning editor and VP of original programming at HBO Nordic.<\/p>\n
Palmquist will join HBO Nordic in the newly created position on August 1. She will be based in Copenhagen and report to Antony Root, the executive VP of original programming and production at HBO Europe.<\/p>\n
Palmquist previously worked as the commissioning editor for feature films at the Danish Film Institute, responsible for script development and production of new feature film projects. She has also held senior positions at SVT in Sweden and Nordisk Film & TV Fond in Norway.<\/p>\n
