LONDON: Independent outfit CPL Productions has struck a joint-venture deal with comedian Harry Hill to launch Nit TV, which already has projects\u00a0slated for Sky and BBC.<\/p>\n

First up is a two-season deal with Sky for the comedy cookery show Harry Hill\u2019s Tea-Time<\/em>, an 8×30-minute program featuring special star guests. Nit TV has also tied up a script-development deal with BBC for a sitcom created by and starring Hill, based on his comic memoir Livin\u2019 the Dreem: A Year In My Life…Probably<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Danielle Lux, CPL Productions\u2019s managing director, commented: \u201cWe\u2019re overjoyed to be collaborating with Harry Hill, one of the U.K.\u2019s most popular and unique performers over the last two decades. His creative vision and irreverent approach is a perfect fit for CPL.\u201d<\/p>\n

CPL Productions\u2019s creative director, Murray Boland, added: \u201cWe love Harry and these fantastic deals with Sky and the BBC are just the start of a dynamic and lively future for Nit TV.\u201d<\/p>\n
