CANNES: Zodiak Rights will be at MIPTV talking to buyers about some of the established classics as well as brand-new propositions from the newly combined Zodiak and Banijay catalogue, including Killer Roads<\/em>, a new factual-entertainment format from Zodiak Nederland.<\/p>\n

\u201cIts innovative use of highly portable cameras allows viewers to see perilous roads in groundbreaking detail, and its subject matter is urgent and relevant for viewers around the world,\u201d Tim Mutimer, the CEO of Zodiak Rights, says of Killer Roads<\/em>. Also in the genre of factual entertainment, The Legends Club<\/em> is a Banijay Finland title that takes an intimate look into the lives of sports stars.<\/p>\n

From Nordisk Film TV, Wonderkids<\/em> is an entertainment show that looks to discover the country\u2019s most talented young artists. \u201cWonderkids<\/em> was a big hit for Nordisk on Saturday nights on DR1 in Denmark last year and felt like a refreshing return to a more traditional type of talent show,\u201d says Mutimer.<\/p>\n

Zodiak Rights is also launching a brand-new psychological thriller at MIPTV titled Wolf Creek<\/em>. Produced by Banijay Group\u2019s Screentime, the 6×1-hour drama is based on the cult feature films of the same name written, directed and produced by Greg McLean. The show is \u201chighly anticipated by fans of the original movies and we know there is a keen audience waiting to see the series,\u201d says Caroline Torrance, the head of scripted at Zodiak Rights.<\/p>\n

The company is also presenting Public Enemy<\/em>, which is part of the MIPDrama Screenings, and Bombshell: The Sinking of the Rainbow Warrior<\/em>, based on a true story of how a deadly French Secret Service operation dramatically backfired.
