LUXEMBOURG: Mediengruppe RTL Deutschland will be launching a new, free-to-air channel on June 4 called RTL\u00a0Plus.<\/p>\n
RTL\u00a0Plus will offer a mix of popular classics and its exclusive own productions. RTL\u00a0Plus’s prime-time offering will differ every day, with shows such as Bauer sucht Frau<\/em> (The Farmer Wants a Wife<\/em>), Dr. Stefan Frank<\/em>, Hinter Gittern: Der Frauenknast<\/em> (Behind Bars: The Women’s Prison<\/em>), Einsatz in 4 W\u00e4nden<\/em> (Home DIY Challenge<\/em>), Doppelter Einsatz<\/em> (Double Deployment<\/em>), Monk<\/em> and Nikola<\/em>. \u2028\u2028The daytime viewing will include documentary formats like Mein Baby<\/em> (My Baby<\/em>) and Unsere erste gemeinsame Wohnung<\/em> (Our First Shared Flat<\/em>), as well as the justice shows Das Jugendgericht<\/em> (Juvenile Court<\/em>), Das Strafgericht<\/em> (Criminal Court<\/em>) and Das Familiengericht<\/em> (Family Court<\/em>). The channel’s exclusive own productions will be new episodes of the game shows Familienduell<\/em> (Family Duel<\/em>) and Jeopardy<\/em>, which are already in the making and will feature in RTL Plus’s program schedule starting from the fall.<\/p>\n The new channel will be led by Jan Peter Lacher, who will fulfill this role as well as his duties as senior VP of program planning at RTL Television.
