{"id":6433,"date":"2016-01-27T12:22:36","date_gmt":"2016-01-27T17:22:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tveurope\/trx-advisory-board-appoints-stephen-lambert\/"},"modified":"2016-01-27T12:22:36","modified_gmt":"2016-01-27T17:22:36","slug":"trx-advisory-board-appoints-stephen-lambert","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/worldscreen.com\/tveurope\/2016\/01\/27\/trx-advisory-board-appoints-stephen-lambert\/","title":{"rendered":"TRX Advisory Board Appoints Stephen Lambert"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>LONDON: Studio Lambert CEO Stephen Lambert has joined the advisory board of TRX, an online marketplace for secondary TV and video rights.<\/p>\n<p>Lambert is a well known creative television exec in both the U.K. and U.S. His credits include the unscripted hits <em>Gogglebox<\/em>, <em>Undercover Boss<\/em>, <em>Wife Swap<\/em>, <em>Four in a Bed<\/em>, <em>Secret Millionaire<\/em>, <em>Tattoo Fixers<\/em> and <em>Faking It<\/em>. He founded Studio Lambert, a production company, in 2008 with the help of All3Media.<\/p>\n<p>TRX, a 100-percent subsidiary of Dial Square 86, was founded by David and Matthew Frank in 2015. The company is slated to launch this year. Other members of the advisory board include Nadine Nohr, former chief executive of Shine International and former head of ITV\u2019s distribution business, and John McVay, chief executive of independent producers\u2019 association Pact.<\/p>\n<p>Lambert commented: \u201cSince I first heard about TRX from David, I\u2019ve been a huge fan. Like all great innovations, it is simple and yet brilliant. I have become a significant investor in the business and I\u2019m looking forward to the challenge of getting TRX established and building the company with David, Matthew and the team. It has huge potential to become an enterprise of real scale within a relatively short space of time\u2014and that\u2019s exciting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>David Frank, executive chairman of TRX, added: \u201cI\u2019m thrilled to be working with Stephen again. In my view he is simply the most talented creative executive working in television today. But he combines his creative excellence with a proven and highly successful entrepreneurial instinct\u2014getting huge satisfaction, as I do, from growing businesses.
