\n\tSTOCKHOLM: Bonnier Broadcasting has named Henri Caddeo its new chief technical officer, with the exec slated to take up the role in the spring.<\/p>\n

\n\tCaddeo will have broad responsibility for technology for Bonnier’s entire business area, and will coordinate and develop the technology organizations within the TV4 Group, SVOD service C More and news production company Nyhetsbolaget in Sweden, as well as TV network MTV in Finland. Caddeo is currently CTIO for Swedish digital TV, broadband and telecom provider Com Hem.<\/p>\n

\n\t“I’m excited that Henri has decided to work with us,” said Casten Almqvist, the head of the business area and CEO for the TV4 Group. “His main role will be to build a high-quality technology organization for the future, where the technology is as attractive as the content, and where we talk as much about technology and user experience as we do about programming and sales. With his strong track record and broad experience working in the intersect between business and user experience, as well as between traditional technology and the online TV world, I can’t imagine anyone better to take on this role.”<\/p>\n

\n\t“When Casten asked if I wanted to be part of what is now happening, there was no question about my saying yes,” remarked Caddeo. “The transformation that the media industry is undergoing currently is driven by modern technology, which makes possible new user behavior and puts the end customer in a whole new focus.
