\n\tPARIS: Hervé Michel, the director of international affairs at France Télévisions, has been elected president of TV France International by the board.<\/p>\n

\n\tMichel will take up the post on January 4, 2016. He founded and directed France Télévisions Distribution, the commercial arm of the French pubcaster, between 1992 and 2007, serving as deputy director from 2007 to 2012. In 2012, Michel became director of international affairs at France Télévisions. He previously worked at Télé-Images, Vamp Productions (now Image & Cie), Walt Disney Productions and Livre de Paris (Hachette). He has served as president of CMCA (Mediterranean Center for Audiovisual Communication) since 2013.<\/p>\n

\n\tMichel commented: “As a founding member of TV France International, I am particularly proud to be chosen by the board as the new president of the association.
